 Blackboard Grading Student Attempts

 Guide for grading student submission attempts in Blackboard.

In order to grade student’s submission attempts, you will need to access the submission through the Grade Center.

1.  Access your course through Blackboard
2.  Under Course Management, click Grade Center and then Full Grade Center
3.  Navigate to the cell corresponding to the student and assignment
        Note:
  You should see a yellow “!”. This means that the assignments needs grading

        (Visual of yellow exclamation point.)

4.  Click the chevron on the right side of the cell and click on the student’s attempt

    

5.  The student’s assignment attempt will now open. Enter a number in the attempt box to grade the submission.

     (Select the chevron, then chose the student’s attempt.)

6.  If you would like to leave feedback to the student. Do so in the feedback box

7.  Click Submit and the grade will be entered.
