If there is a specific chapter from a course you wish to add, click on the chapter within the course, hit the playlist button, then choose add this video only to your playlist.

Sometimes, a course on Lynda.com may seem to be exactly what you want for your course minus a few chapters.  In this case, you would add the whole course to your playlist, then edit out the chapters you don’t want.

To edit out the chapters you don't want, click edit playlists.

To eliminate an item from your course, click the grey minus - symbol on the right hand side of the screen.  This disables the chapter from your playlist.

In the Editing Playlist mode, you can also move chapters around to curate your materials for your course in the order you want.

Sharing your playlists.

In order for anyone to see your playlist, you must first make it public. On you playlist page, click Make Public that displays a closed lock.  Once you’ve made the course public, the lock icon will now appear open.

Now that your playlist is set to public, click the share arrow on the right side of the screen.  This gives you multiple ways to share your playlist.  For our purposes, click URL Link.

This opens a window that provides you with a link to copy to share with someone at UC.

Now all you have to do is create a hyperlink within your course using the copied URL and you are done!
