 Instructions for mapping UCFileSpace as network drive on Mac computers.

UCFileSpace Drive Mapping Instructions for Mac
This guide provides directions for connecting to your UCFileSpace drive remotely from your Mac computer. 

*Please note: If you are off-campus, you will need to connect to the University’s VPN.  Instructions for installing the VPN can be found HERE

1.    Open your Finder and click Go on the top menu bar.  Then click Connect to Server…

 

2.   For server address, type in files.ucfilespace.uc.edu/yourusername and click Connect.

 

3.   You will be prompted to login.  Enter your Central Login Service (CLS) username and password and click Connect.

 

4.    Your Finder will now open to your UCFileSpace drive where you now have direct access to your files. The UCFileSpace share will show under the shared category in Finder.
