 UCMail Setup Instructions for iPhone and iPad

 Setup instructions for configuring UCMail (Faculty, Staff and Affiliates) E-mail on an iPhone or iPad.

1.    At your iPhone’s home screen, tap Settings.

 

Note: If you have not set up any mail accounts on your device yet, just click the “Mail ” icon and skip down to the fourth step.

 

2.   Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.

       

 

3.   Tap Add Account

       

 

4.   Tap Exchange

       

 

5.   You will then be prompted to provide e-mail account information.

      Email: This will be your full e-mail address formatted as: username@ucmail.uc.edu

      Password: This will be your UC Central Login Service (CLS) password.

      Description: This determines how the account is labeled in your phone.

 

       

 

      6.   Tap Next and your phone will attempt to configure your email account. If your account configures
      successfully skip to step 9

 

      7.    If unsuccessful, you will be prompted for more account details.

       Email: This will be your full e-mail address formatted as: username@ucmail.uc.edu

       Server: This will be ucmail.uc.edu

       Domain: This will be ad

       Username: This will be your University 6+2 Username

       Password: This will be your UC Central Login Service (CLS) password.

       

 

 

8.   Tap Next

 

      9.  If your setup succeeds, you will be taken to a page that will allows you to select the features you want to 
     enable.
     Mail: Enables you phone to view your Microsoft Exchange Email.

     Contacts: This enables your phone to access your Microsoft exchange contacts and all contacts will be 
     added to your phone’s address book.

     Calendar: This allows your phone to access your UCMail calendar. 

     Reminders: This allows your phone to manage and view reminders on your UCMail account.
     Note:
This allows your phone to manage notes on your UCMail account. 

 

       

 

      10.  Tap Save and your account will be successfully configured on your iPhone.
